In 2017, ACF & the Abbotsford Community Development Council invited community for a Vital Conversation on 4 key social issues: Homelessness, Poverty, Diversity, & Parenting, as they relate to emerging issues like the fentanyl crisis & gang violence. The result was a Vital Conversation document with research on the issues with a goal of proposing actions that can be taken locally through the sharing of knowledge & resources, supporting actions already underway, & advocating for action at the municipal, provincial or federal level.
