Cheque Ceremonies
Every year, ACF hosts cheque ceremonies for many of its granting programs. This is an opportunity for recipients to share the projects and initiatives that are being supported by ACF funds and it’s a chance for local charities to network. We host these ceremonies all over the community to showcase all that Abbotsford has to offer!
Grant recipients are issued an invitation to a cheque ceremony for our community grants and agricultural grants with their notification of award. We also invite the committee members that make decisions on granting and special guests such as the Mayor since our agricultural grants are done in partnership with the City of Abbotsford.
These ceremonies are a chance to connect, engage, and learn about projects and initiatives you might not know are happening right here, in our community. We host at least 1 cheque ceremony a year somewhere in Abbotsford.
