Our Agricultural Enhancement Grants are offered in partnership with the City of Abbotsford for the purpose of supporting our local agricultural industry. Check out this opportunity for up to $50,000 in funding for local projects to support our farmers, agricultural processors, entrepreneurs & researchers.
Agricultural Enhancement Grants
In 2011, the City of Abbotsford established the Agricultural Enhancement Grants Program Fund with the Abbotsford Community Foundation (ACF) to support a thriving local agricultural industry. The overall purpose of the program is to:
The theme for granting has been Agricultural Innovation, specifically as it relates to any or all of the following:
- Product development
- Value added agricultural innovations
- Solutions for product to market supply chains
- Entrepreneurial farm practices to enhance market growth
- Agri Tourism – farm to table and/or Agri Education initiatives
- Diversification of farming operations
- Regulatory compliances
- Climate change adaptation/mitigation
Our next granting round opens January 19, 2026 with an online application. If you are a past recipient of this grant, your project evaluation/final report is due no later than January 23, 2026 to be eligible for the next round of funding. Eligibility and application guidelines can be found below:
