This year, the Abbotsford Community Foundation (ACF) is conducting a Request for Proposal/Open Bid Process to appoint external auditors for a 5 year engagement.
Our endowment funds are entrusted to us by donors and the earnings from these funds is what we invest directly into the community in the form of grants each year. It is critical that we engage in an annual independent audit process to demonstrate integrity in our internal process and trustworthy administration and accounting that our donors, charitable partners, and other community members expect in our work.
We are looking for locally based (BC preferred) experienced auditors who work and support the philanthropic foundation space. You should have strong understanding of audit practices for charities and be able to provide advice and expertise to ensure timely and up to date information for our organization.
