The Abbotsford Community Foundation’s Smart & Caring Community Fund provides grants to charitable organizations for projects, programs, and initiatives addressing local social issues specifically related to children and families at risk within our community, including but not limited to their needs for housing, food security, poverty reduction, education, mental health, and wellness.
Our goal is to fund projects that support equity, diversity and inclusion, build resilience, and create opportunities for engagement with some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens.
The 2024 granting round is now closed. The next granting round will open Fall 2025.

- Oct 9, 2025 – Applications Close (Applications received after this date will not be reviewed)
- Nov 7, 2025 – Notification of Decision
- TBC – Cheque Presentation Ceremony
